Songs for the Workers with the End Times Jubilee

Join the End of Times Jubilee – Hannah Bingman, Steve Buckalew, Gary Gyekis, Nell Hanssen & JK- for a celebration of American Labor.

Come on down to the old Elk Creek Union Hall and add your voice to this excavated songbook of folk tunes celebrating all those who have put their shoulders to the collective American wheel.

Working people have always known that songs are a good way to say what you got to say about work, wages, school, cats, love, marriage, keeping house, or doctor bills. If the fight gets hot, the songs get hotter. If the going gets tough, the songs get tougher. — Woody Guthrie

We’ll sing some familiar and unfamiliar labor songs and story songs, songs of protest and celebration. And we’ll talk about history and common threads and struggle and solidarity.
